Welcome to our SFIDA L’Étape du Tour de France 2026.
The 2026 Etape du Tour de France edition is expected to be one of the most memorable in recent years, with the final climb up the Col de la Sarenne. This is going to be an incredible ride.
The official route includes the following climbs: Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Telegraphe, Col du Galibier and Col de la Sarenne.
A total of 170km and 5,400m of climbing are waiting for you!

4 Nights of accommodation.
1 Entry to L’Etape du Tour, this includes: a bib, a flask, an engraved medal (with the first name, last name, and the time of the participant), as well as a photo and video package.
1 Exclusive rest stop on the route only for the SFIDA Cycling clients.
1 SFIDA Cycling jersey. You can order a pair of bib shorts ahead of the trip for 100 Euros.

Tips for the staff.
SUPPORT:
We will have ride leaders and at least one mechanic on our trip.
Our staff/client ratio is 1:4.
Our passenger vans come fully equipped with all the necessary equipment to provide the best support during the rides.
We carry gels, energy bars, powder mix, water, fruit, riding food, tools, pumps, spare tubes and tyres to ensure our first-class support helps you through the trip.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Given the nature of the event we are doing, all the amounts paid are non-refundable.
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance as soon as you pay the deposit and buy your international flights.
Make sure your travel insurance covers:
- Refund the amounts paid if you need to cancel for any reason.
- Covers the cost of possible damage to your rental bike. Check our T&C for this.
For these reasons, we won’t be holding any spots until the full deposit has been paid.
Itinerary
Meet the SFIDA Cycling team at Lyon Airport (LYS) in the morning.
We will travel to our hotel, conveniently located in L'Alpe d'Huez.
Upon arrival, we will check in, have lunch, attend a trip presentation and prepare our bikes.
In the afternoon, we will do an amazing ride to start this trip.
We will descend towards Allemond and then ride to Bourg d'Oisians.
Today we will climb Alpe d'Huez, nothing like doing it with fresh legs!
Day 1 ride.
46km/1,265m.
Climb: Alpe d'Huez.
Hotel : In l'Alpe d'Huez.
For our second day we have planned a beautiful ride.
We will descend to La Garde and ride the balcony road to Freney en Oisans. Then we will ride down to the valley via another balcony road, the less-used one via Bons.
Lunch will be in Bourg d'Oisans before driving back to Alpe d'Huez.
Day 2 ride.
40km/1,050m.
Hotel : In l'Alpe d'Huez.
The ride the day before an event like L'Etape du Tour de France needs to be an easy one.
We will descend to Bourg d'Oisans and ride towards La Berarde up to Champ du Moulin, this is a pleasant ride.
Afterwards, we will pedal back to Bourg d'Oisans and have lunch.
After lunch, we will transfer back to our hotel in L'Alpe d'Huez.
In the afternoon, we will visit the L'Etape du Tour village and collect our bibs, etc.
Day 3 ride.
40km/430m.
Hotel : In l'Alpe d'Huez.

TODAY IS THE BIG DAY!
We will go to Bourg d'Oisans for the start of the ride.
This year's itinerary is very challenging; for this reason, SFIDA Cycling has booked a private rest stop area during the route.
The ride includes the following climbs: Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Telegraphe, Col du Galibier and Col de Sarene.
Distance: 170km.
Elevation: 5,400m.
Hotel : In l'Alpe d'Huez.
After breakfast, we will transfer to Lyon Airport (LYS).
We expect to arrive there by noon. Please make onward travel arrangements accordingly.
